Bachata has been taking Toronto by storm, growing in popularity in the past couple of years as an alternative to the salsa sets played at Latin nightclubs. Make your Bachata more authentic... more Dominican! Dominican Bachata shares with Cuban salsa impressive musicality, footwork and improvisation. The dance is sexy, fun, and very musical at the same time.
This 8-week course will teach you with the fundamentals of Dominican Bachata as well as some basic turn patterns of "nightclub" style Bachata. It will teach you several different ways of enriching your footwork and what to listen in the music in order to add footwork improvisation to your dancing.
