On Friday October 15, Illskillz Productions hosted a competition for high school dance crews at the Don Bosco High School Auditorium near Islington and the 401. Fifteen high-school hip hop groups battled to claim the title of ”Toronto’s Best High School Dance Crew.”

Even the city of Hamilton now hosts a dance competition, with its first ever Salsa competition awarding two winning dancers tickets to a trip to Cuba this weekend.

CANADA PRO 2010, Toronto’s biggest community-organized Hip Hop festival and competition, will take place on September 25, 2010, at the MANIFESTO WAREHOUSE, 376 Dufferin St. (just South of Queen St. West).
