Dance Ontario Dance Weekend January 21-23, 2011
Tired of the cold January temperatures? Heat up your weekend with Dance Ontario’s three-day dance event at the Harbourfront Centre!
Part of the NextSteps Series, the showcase of twenty eight professional dance companies and hundreds of dancers takes place this weekend: January 21-23, 2011.
Special guest Everett Smith, the tap dancing finalist from last year’s “So You Think You Can Dance Canada” will be on stage with “What’s On? Tap!” on Friday night.
Other performance groups include: the Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre, York University’s Competitive Dance Team, Ryerson Dance Pak, Ritmo Flamenco Dance & Music Ensemble, Ballet Jorgen Canada, Esmeralda Enrique Spanish Dance Company, Arabesque Dance Company & Orchestra , Arte Flamenco Spanish Dance Company, and City Dance Corps.
Location: Fleck Dance Theatre, 207 Queens Quay West
Tickets: Admission is by donation (minimum $10 per person per night). No advance tickets.
