Toronto Winter City Festival January 29 to February 11, 2010

Toronto’s Wintercity Festival is less than a week away, so don’t hibernate and miss out on the excitement. In addition to the free weekend WOW! series at Nathan Phillips Square, there are dozens of well-priced ticketed events to help you beat the winter blahs! Includes live theatre, dance, music and a Venetian carnival. The WinterCity Festival is produced by the City of Toronto.
Bunch Family Dance Party: True North Edition

Kids and parents can spend a feel-good afternoon shaking it on the dance floor side-by-side. Mix it up with dancing yetis and polar bears, while an indoor storm rages and DJ Fase spins hot tracks for cold weather.

A multimedia, multidisciplinary performance of sound, movement and light built around the new CD by Canadian World music mainstays the Flying Bulgars.

An intimate South Asian themed spectacle of music and dance connecting ancient India to modern Toronto. An open Q & A will follow each performance with the audience.
